At first glance, the S26 Ultra looks familiar, retaining the sleek titanium frame. But it has hit the gym, slimming down to just 7.9mm and weighing 214g—making it surprisingly comfortable for a massive 6.9-inch phone.

But let’s talk about the star of the show: the Privacy Display. Instead of forcing you to buy a third-party privacy screen protector, Samsung built the tech directly into the pixel layer of the QHD+ AMOLED panel. With a quick tap in the settings, the screen looks vibrant to you but completely black to anyone looking from an angle. It is mind-blowing in person.

Performance & "Agentic" AI

Under the hood, the S26 Ultra is powered by the custom Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5 processor. It flies through tasks, gaming, and multitasking without breaking a sweat, aided by a newly redesigned vapor chamber.

Samsung is heavily pushing "Agentic AI" this year. The phone now features tools like Now Nudge, which actively pulls context from your messages and calendar to suggest actions without you having to ask.

The camera island has been slightly redesigned, but the real upgrades are in the lenses:

Samsung stuck with the same 5,000mAh battery capacity. However, the efficiency of the new Snapdragon chip keeps it running all day. The real news here is the jump to 60W wired charging. You can finally get from zero to 75% in about 30 minutes, which is a massive quality-of-life improvement.
